As we head into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has used Harry’s Cleaning over the last couple of years. Whether it was window cleaning, gutter clearing, or another exterior service, I really appreciate you choosing a local, independent business to look after your home.
Running Harry’s Cleaning has always been about doing things properly — turning up when we say we will, communicating clearly, and carrying out work to a standard I’m proud to put my name to.

Harry’s Cleaning is a local exterior cleaning company based in Uckfield, covering surrounding areas including Crowborough, Buxted, Framfield, and Heathfield. I’ve put my name on the business because I genuinely care about the quality of the work and the experience customers have from start to finish.
If something isn’t right, I want to know about it. And if something needs doing properly, I want to make sure it’s done safely and correctly.

Our commitment to safety and doing things properly
Safety has always been a big priority at Harry’s Cleaning. In 2025, we became proud members of the Federation of Window Cleaners (FWC), the UK’s leading professional body for window cleaners.
As part of that commitment, we’ve completed the FWC’s Cleaning Windows Safely training course, covering both water-fed pole systems and the safe use of portable ladders.
The training focuses on:

Proper use and maintenance of water-fed pole systems

Managing slips, trips, and falls on site

Identifying and controlling potential hazards

Creating and updating risk assessments and method statements
It’s a real investment of time and effort, but it’s one we believe is worth it. Our customers deserve a service that’s not just effective, but also safe and professional.
Putting training into practice
This training has helped us refine how we work on every job, from residential homes in Uckfield and Crowborough to larger properties across the surrounding areas. We’re continually updating our risk assessments and working methods to reflect the latest guidance and best practice.
This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about showing customers that we genuinely care about doing things the right way — safely, responsibly, and to a high standard.
A quick update on regular window cleaning rounds
Looking ahead to 2026, we’ll be reshuffling and tightening up our regular window cleaning rounds to make them even more efficient and consistent. As part of this, we’ll also be opening the rounds up to a small number of new customers.
